The work of Rosario Perriello configures itself on appropriations logics and on material displacements as well as conceptual ones. On one hand,
her work involves a critical gaze at Art History and at the ornamental tradition, but she also looks at the social contingency.
What she proposes always reveals a tension between imaginary and material set ups for representational problems.
